the Philadelphia Concours d'Elegance
Our biggest fundraising event, the Philadelphia Concours d’Elegance, is a premier car show in the heart of the City of Brotherly Love—created to unite families of children with rare genetic diagnoses and classic car enthusiasts who share a passion for the truly one-of-a-kind.

All funds raised by Cool Cars for Kids, Inc. directly support children with genetic conditions at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), advancing care, research, and resources for children and families navigating genetic conditions.

Founded in 2017 by Cool Cars for Kids, Inc., alongside a dedicated team of physicians including Dr. Ian Krantz, the Philadelphia Concours d’Elegance began at the renowned Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum as a celebration of exceptional automobiles and an even greater cause. What started as an intimate gathering of enthusiasts and families has grown into the region’s most sophisticated showcase of automotive culture.

Through the event’s success, the concours has outgrown its original venue and now makes its home at The Union League Liberty Hill—a setting that reflects its elevated vision and delivers the ultimate luxury concours experience. While the venue has evolved, the spirit of partnership and support from the Simeone and Cool Cars for Kids, Inc. remains stronger than ever, fueling our mission to blend automotive excellence with real-world impact for children and families affected by rare genetic conditions.

The Long Island
cool cars for kids

Started in 2025 by a group of Long Island healthcare professionals who share a passion for cars and helping children, the Cool Cars for Kids Car Show began as an idea for a small cars and coffee and quickly exceeded expectations. Its inaugural event raised over $30,000 and drew over 600 vehicles and 2,000 attendees, and in just its second year, it has become a Long Island favorite—praised by many as “one of the best car shows in New York.”

All proceeds from the event benefit the Medical Genetics and Genomics Division at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, supporting vital research, specialized care, and resources for children and families impacted by genetic conditions. Beyond the cars and festivities, the show raises awareness about genetic conditions and the work being done to improve outcomes for affected children.
Attendees can expect a diverse lineup of vehicles, fun family-friendly activities, local vendors, and a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates automotive culture and community.

Want to get involved with Cool Cars for Kids but in your own free time? Be a part of Clean Cars for Kids! We supply all materials needed for you to host your own car wash to raise money to support a good cause!
